In collaboration with the Faith in Film Breakfast Clubs around the country, ICVM is honored to host an entertainment industry panel discussion on Faith & Justice.  This Wednesday ( July 29th)  join us on the ICVM Facebook page as we bring together a group of exceptionally talented and experienced industry professionals to begin a conversation on the topic of racial inequality. What responsibility and response to current events do we have as believers, filmmakers, and storytellers? How do we as Christians address these issues? How can we love our neighbors better? 

The Bible urges us as believers to be slow to speak and quick to listen (James 1:19) but in today’s fast-paced social media culture, it can feel like we don’t always take the time to consider and listen. Join us as we listen to what this panel has to say.

Andrew Erwin, half of the filmmaking duo The Erwin Brothers, began his career as a teenager working for ESPN as a camera operator in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. In 2002, Andrew founded a production company with his brother Jon. Their first ventures were commercials, documentaries, and music videos. In 2010, Andrew and Jon began exclusively developing dramatic feature films. Their features have all opened in the top-ten box office and they have received the coveted A+ CinemaScore® twice. Their features include OCTOBER BABY, MOMS’ NIGHT OUT, WOODLAWN, and the 2018 smash hit I CAN ONLY IMAGINE. In 2019, Andrew and Jon, with partners Kevin Downes and Tony Young, launched Kingdom Studios along with a first-look deal with Lionsgate. The first film from that venture is I STILL BELIEVE, a biopic about CCM megastar Jeremy Camp which was released in over 3,200 theaters in the U.S. and in Canada on March 13, 2020 . Andrew serves as Chief Creative Officer at Kingdom Studios as well as produces and directs feature films with his brother Jon.

Cameron Arnett is an award-winning actor in television, film and theater. He has appeared on just about every major television network and several major box office hits including I Still Believe, Overcomer, and his directorial debut, Mattie: The Discovery which he produced along with his wife, B.J. Arnett. He is also the CEO of CAPS, a television, film and entertainment company dedicated to presenting viable family friendly entertainment with principal centered programming to a broad market. Cameron and B.J. live in Atlanta and are the parents of a blended family of five wonderful children.

Michelle S. Duffie, CEO of D3 Entertainment Group, is considered the premiere liaison, deal-maker, marketing strategist and quarterback between the African American faith and family consumer and the corporate, entertainment and sports world. In 2015 alone, She structured marketing strategies generating $1.3 Billion dollars in revenue for companies including, Sony Pictures #1 Movie, WAR ROOM, God's Not Dead, Will Smith's Concussion, Paramount Picture's Ben Hur, Tyler Perry's Boo! A Madea Halloween, The Shack, and many others. She also sits on the board of many national organizations including The Juvenile Justice Center, the FBI Citizen’s Academy and many others. Her joy resides in the comfort of family, friends and the ability to empower, encourage and motivate everyone God places in her path.

Lance Nichols is most widely known for his role as the preacher in the 2008 Academy Award nominated film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Dr. Larry Williams in the HBO series Treme. Throughout his 40 years of acting, spanning the early 80s to present day, Nichols has made nearly 200 appearances on multiple award winning and critically acclaimed television series including: Cheers, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, Everybody Loves Raymond, NCIS: New Orleans, Queen of the South and many others. His film credits include Woodlawn, the Fantastic Four, I Am, Left Behind, The Last Song and more. He and his wife Zardis, own Lanzardis Productions.

Randy Robison is a writer, producer, and co-host for the television program LIFE Today. He is the author of numerous books, including collaborations with his father, James Robison, as well as Senator Rand Paul. He is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, a husband, and a father of four. He and his family make their home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
