The INVESTORS LIONS DEN -- A Shark-Tank-like event that will pre-choose approx. 4 companies or presentations for an investors panel to consider. All conference attendees who desire will be in the audience watching, with the goal of learning just what investors expect from filmmakers or film businesses to get investment consideration in the real world. Applications must be submitted by September 1st to be considered to present your business plan to the investors panel. However, you must have a complete business package including:
- Logo
- Website link
- Company bio
- Founder profile pics
- Founder bios (short version)
- Investor Pitch Deck
- Financial Projections
Even if you aren't chosen, you should attend to learn from listening to other presentations and feedback.
By submitting, you will also be considered for other monthly and annual pitch events Lions Den does through its own org, Lion's Den DFW.
THE ICVM STORYTELLERS CONFERENCE is shaping up as a God-honoring event that will give Christian filmmakers the tools to succeed and provide the relationships with investors, distributors, other filmmakers and professionals to help bring film projects and companies to life!
The INVESTORS LIONS DEN event joins other conference highlights like the ICVM Script & Story Pitch-a-thon on Nov. 18th, and the 2nd annual Christian Film Market (CFM) on Nov. 17th, along with many seminars, speakers, screenings and networking events.

The INVESTORS LIONS DEN will be looking for well-prepared and documented presentations for Christian film-related businesses (studios, post houses, streaming networks, production companies, etc.) or films and television shows. ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE VETTED BY LION’S DEN DFW, NOT BY ICVM.
Only one to three presentations may be selected for ICVM's INVESTORS LIONS DEN, but even if yours is not chosen, you will learn how to make your package more investor-friendly, and you will still be eligible for other Lion's Den DFW events (see 'a' and 'b' below.)
How You Can Apply to Present to the Investors
- Applications can only be submitted by those registered for the ICVM Storytellers Conference.
- Applications may be submitted from now until October 27, 2023.
